Named after the Washington state festival, Centennial is an aroma-type cultivar developed from the USDA hop breeding program at Washington State University in 1974 and released in 1990. Centennial is a well blended aroma hop and is sometimes referred to as Super Cascade Classic floral and citrus. Excellent dry hop. The BBC Pure Hop Pellet™ is produced using a finer, more uniform grind than standard Type 90 pellets. A sub-zero process – milling and sieving takes place at approx. -35°C (-31 °F) – to prevent hop resins and essential oils from oxidation. The resulting pellets offer a more intense aroma and flavour.

Centennial BBC Pure Hop Pellets T90 (5kg)
Developed in 1974 and released in 1990, Centennial is a versatile dual-purpose hop bred from Brewer’s Gold, Fuggle, East Kent Golding, and Bavarian varieties. It features a bright citrus backbone, layered with woody-spicy notes of spruce, tonka bean, and tarragon, alongside fruity raspberry, lychee, and pineapple. Fresh lemon and bergamot with hints of aniseed add complexity. Popular in IPAs, pale ales, stouts, and barley wines, Centennial delivers a balanced bitterness with a bold aroma.
