Organic Mroost 1400 MD, also known as de-bittered black malt, is roasted at high temperatures and quickly chilled to achieve the desired color. It has a strong chocolate and cocoa nib aroma while adding a dark color to the finished beer.Due to unique production methods, this roasted malt has a less astringent flavor. Suitable for use up to 5% of the grain bill.
