Organic Pale Ale MD malt is made from the finest 2-row European organic summer barley. Fully modified and kilned longer and more intensely than Organic Pilsen MD, it provides a golden color, complex malty character, and rich body.Optimal steeping and germination ensure homogenous modification, allowing use in both single and multi-step mashes. Low protein and glucan levels contribute to easy clarification and high extraction efficiency.With high enzymatic activity, this organic kilned malt can be used for up to 100% of the grain bill in all beer types.
