Similar in character to Hallertau and genetically close to Saaz, it stands out with a higher farnesene content, contributing to a soft spiciness and a well-balanced floral and herbal aroma. Suitable for both bittering and aroma, Tettnanger is a classic choice for European lagers, pilsners, and traditional German-style beers.
