Pealed Roasted Barley MD malt is roasted at high temperatures and quickly chilled to achieve the desired color. It provides a smoky, roasted flavor and deep color to brown beers.Starting from pealed barley eliminates the unwanted astringency from roasted chaff. Suitable for use up to 5% of the grain bill.
