Beneath the fruit-forward profile, Mosaic® reveals floral, grassy, and herbal undertones, with hints of pine, blossom, and spice. Mosaic® is an aroma hop variety developed by Hop Breeding Company, LLC released in 2012.
Mosaic offers a unique and complex blend of floral, tropical, fruity, and earthy
characteristics that translate very well into several styles of beer. The flavour profile can be
bold and includes gooseberry, pear, mandarin, lime and peach. The BBC Pure Hop Pellet™ is
produced using a finer, more uniform grind than standard Type 90 pellets. A sub-zero
process – milling and sieving takes place at approx. -35°C (-31 °F) – to prevent hop resins and
essential oils from oxidation. The resulting pellets offer a more intense aroma and flavour.
